Testimonial: “Hermes' Salsa night was at Valente's, Fenchurch Street. We were greeted with very lively salsa music, and lots of sangria and tapas. These helped loosen us up and get us in the mood for all that hip wiggling Latin dancing! Maria Palmieri carefully taught us the basic steps: backwards and forwards salsa, rumba to the side, and finally a mambo. She made it look so easy while most of us had two left feet! She then helped us practice whilst rotating partners. After lots of laughter and some toe-treading, we did succeed in combining all the steps into a couple of simple routines.
