Hen Parties

I arranged a salsa class for my best friends Hen Night. We went for a 2 hour lesson with 2 teachers at Bar Rumba. Maria and Alex were great fun, made us feel at ease and had a great sense of humour, Maria was so efficient/communicative/relaxed every step of the way and arranging this through her was an absolute pleasure and stress-free. Everyone had a great time and its something that everyone should try. It was a great experience and would definitely keep you fit if done on a regular basis, whilst having a lot of fun. Thank you Maria and Alex for everything.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all you did to make my sisters hen-day a success! The Salsa lesson with you was the highlight of her whole day. The girls all enjoyed it too. It was so much fun.

Thank you so so much for a wonderful salsa lesson for Natalies hen, a big thank you to Maria and Dani, it was so special and all the girls loved every minute!

It was fun and started the hen day off brilliantly! all the moves certainly burned a few calories before we went to for food! :)

We all felt very at ease and was able to keep up with Dani, she took us all to the pace we could and everyone enjoyed themselves without a doubt!

Kamau was superb - really excellent, and he went above and beyond the call of duty by playing along with the surprises, bringing birthday songs,and staying around at the end of the hour until the building was locked up.

We had a lesson with Maria as the first part of a hen day and night of fun and it was definitely a perfect way to start the day. I had to organise the day activity and really wasn't sure what to do as there were a number of girls that didn't know each other, and some friends were travelling from Italy and Barcelona and weren't sure what to expect from an English hen weekend. Upon looking at the website and then speaking to Maria I thought that this would be a great way for us all to get to know each other without feeling too self-conscious and this was definitely the case. Maria was so welcoming and friendly that we all immediately felt relaxed and in the mood to learn some sexy salsa. I loved it near the end when our male teacher, Leo, partnered up with the hen and they went through a routine that we had learnt whilst we all danced around them.

Got some great photos to put into the hen's photo album of the weekend. Every one of the girls came up to me and said how much they enjoyed it and we all used a couple of moves later on that night in the club! I highly recommend this as a hen option and also Maria as a salsa teacher (and a photographer!)

Thank you so much for an absolutely amazing salsa lesson at Natalies hen do on Saturday. It surpassed all our expectations and was great fun. You got all the hens giggling and really getting into their moves and everyone had a great experience. I would recommend this for any hen do as it was such good fun! Natalie had a wonderful time.

And you and the two male taxi dancers were fabulous!

It was money well spent. A few people had done Salsa before and they said they learnt more with you in 2 hours then they had done at there own lessons!

After doing some extensive research into a Salsa Class, I found Salsa Tropical. When talking with Maria she was so helpful in tailor-making the perfect class and structure to suit the day I was putting together.

She not only proposed different venues for the class, but also some bars and restaurants to carry on with the theme. I found Maria to be so helpful, and was always on the end of the phone when I needed her for any questions. The actual Class was fantastic, and a great ice breaker for a Hen Do when not everyone knows everyone.

The actual dancing was so much fun, and the class was very relaxed and we were even allowed some champagne!!! Yet you still felt that you learnt a lot, in between the fun and champagne. We had 2 teachers, which actually worked really well with a group of 13.

I would highly recommend Salsa Tropical; they were so professional, very patient with us all and so much fun!!!

We had a great time and the bride-to-be loved it. We were really happy with the teachers and the venue was perfectly situated. I really appreciated all your efforts to accommodate our needs. The salsa class was perfect for getting us in the party mood for the evening. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else organising a hen do. We took one or two pictures but not many I'm afraid - we were having too much fun dancing to remember to take any until near the end!! I'll certainly send some via email for you.

I found Salsa-tropical through internet and it proved to be a perfect choice for my sister's Latino-theme hen night. The lesson prepared us well for the salsa club later on the night. All of the girls thought that the lesson was very well tailored for the hen night- we learned some great sexy moves and all the right steps for clubbing that evening.

The music was great and put us in the partying mood straight away! The planning was easy and everything was very well organised.

We loved the venue provided - Gymbox on St. Martin's Lane. We had a great time!

"We had an absolutely fabulous time thank you very much, we all enjoyed the salsa class immensely!

Decision to go with Salsa-tropical ~ I contacted a few instructors for the Hen Party, Maria was the most helpful and friendly. She put me at ease, having never taken part in a class before, and assured me she could sort something out in time for the day despite my having left it quite late!

The lesson ~ Great fun! Most of us were completely useless to begin with but by the end of the lesson we were pretty co-ordinated...at times!! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my friends video footage!

We all had such a laugh, couldn't have chosen a better activity or teacher for the party. ..we would all definitely do salsa again. We felt like we'd done a workout afterwards, great exercise as well as great fun!

For my best friends hen night, I organized a salsa lesson for 20 of our close friends, and the results were amazing!

Sophie knew exactly what level to teach us at so that everyone had the best time, and wasn't left out or under challenged, and as well as learning some really funky moves, everyone had so much fun that we just didn't want to leave!

Sophie started by teaching us the basic dance steps, and then played some great music for us to get into, she made it look so easy-but we were all out of breath by the end of the night! Some of my friends had so much fun and such good exercise that they stayed behind to ask her where they can have regular salsa lessons!

We really want to thank Maria and Moss for making it so easy! I told them what we needed, and within a few hours we had been given so many ideas for so many different types of events, we really were spoilt for choice! In addition, all the way up to the event, we had plenty of amazing one on one customer service, and such amazing value for money, we couldn't have asked for more! Even on the night when we got a bit lost-they were just a phone call away to make sure we got to the venue on time!

Thank you so much for giving us the hen night of our dreams!!

Many thanks Maria for such a fantastic start to our hen weekend! The two hour Salsa session was a great alternative to pole or belly dancing and something that everyone could join in with, regardless of ability, fitness levels or aptitude! Not all of us have your rhythm or can move our hips quite like you but we unanimously voted that it was a great activity. Not only did we have a lot of fun and laughs but the benefit of such a personalized lesson was that we all felt we came away having learnt so much as well and having had a good workout deserved the alcohol and treats of the rest of the day and night!

I would definitely recommend Salsa as a fab hen activity to get everyone going and into the mood of the day! Cheers!
