She is an excellent teacher -- very knowledgeable, experienced and great fun to work with. She is patient, creative and flexible and I really enjoyed myself. The DVD's and written notes included in the package are brilliant as well. All in all its a wonderful teacher training program that I recommend to anyone. " Sincerely,

"I chose Salsa -Tropical to do teacher training as Maria was able to provide a flexible and personal package.
Being a qualified and experienced teacher in other disciplines, I needed Maria to appreciate my background and to provide the specific tuition needed to learn to teach salsa and to be able to transfer my skills to this style.
Maria was professional, knowledgeable and great fun to work with! I had the opportunity to work with her on a one-to-one basis as well as support teach with some of her private students.
At the end of my intensive four-day course I came away inspired and equipped with all basics necessary to practice on my own students. I was also armed with a huge resource bank of DVD's, reference material and CDs in a wide range of Latin music styles.
I now have a wonderful and talented contact in London with whom I can continue my training - and Maria is a superb help line!
I have no hesitation in recommending both Maria and Salsa Tropical to you."

"Teacher training with Maria Palmieri of Salsa-Tropical was a great experience. I have danced for many years and have always wanted to teach. The Salsa-Tropical training appealed to me as it seemed more comprehensive than other training programs which are on offer in London, such as “learn to teach in one weekend” I actually think that is impossible! I valued the one to one time I spent with Maria, but Maria also offers invaluable practical experience which you just can’t do with out. Maria was so helpful and patient with me over the last few months and always invited me to participate in her classes and workshops or any events she was running. All this exposure to see what she does as a professional was so useful and also inspiring. Maria is friendly, fun and always open to questions. I felt very comfortable around Maria from the beginning and her approachable nature is conducive to a good learning experience for her students. You need to feel comfortable and not silly to ask questions as a student and Maria was great like this. Also, she is not scared to give you feedback, good or bad, but this is the only way to learn. I very much value Maria’s opinion and I have a lot of respect for her as a business woman, dancer, teacher and now a friend."
