Biography

Cris De La Peña, we can call him one of the Underground stars on the European Dance and Salsa scene. His inspirational style generates excitement and commitment in all his students around the countries he has already visited, having taught thousand of people out there and off course many of the Salsa and Dance Celebrities world wide like, Luis Chavez (Dancer from Ramon Morales Nuevo Imperio and Johnny Vazquez Imperio Azteca), Frank Santos (Leon Rose Project), Rafi Vayani (Orville Small Dance Team)

Former Salsa Choreographer From The Several times World Champion in Jazz, Modern, and Broadway Jazz Team CaroDance , also TV luminaries, Singers and off course Respected Social Salsa Dancers world wide.

He was born in Chile but educated In the Art Student League and trained in the Broadway Dance Center in New York city. Coming from a Musicians family background where he learnt to appreciate a wide variety of good latin music from an early age, giving him the influence to develop his style and dancing  skills an incredibly short time, where you can see, Elegance, Flavor, great posture, flashy foot work, and amazing Music interpretation details. He has performed on television and stage, from appearances with Latin Music artists like Gilberto Santa Rosa, Marc Anthony ,The National theater in London, Several International Salsa Congresses, War child concert AHOY theater Rotterdam, Holland , etc , and various prestigious venues around Europe, South America and the rest of the world.

As a choreographer and Salsa instructor Cris enjoys every aspect of dancing from Charming the beginners to working with the advanced and inspiring the beautiful feeling of latin dance.

Now working independently, Cris with his smooth, crazy, sexy New York style with a touch and posture from the L.A salsa and his very succefull Classes of Latin Video Clip dance has given him a unique perspective for teaching and performing.

Cris is the Former Salsa Choreographer of So you think You Can Dance'' Poland and soon to be featured in the 2th edition of So You Think You Can Dance The Netherlands , also the main choreographer from Many of the celebrities from TVN Dance show Dancing with the stars Poland, and Personal Video Clip Choreographer from Galila prominent Singer from the Middle East.

Warsaw City Mayor Miss Hanna Gronkiewicz Waltz, choose Cris to represent Warsaws night life and entertainment featured in BBC World channel, CNN ,TV spot promoting the city as the capital of culture 2016. Cris is currently working in his Next project as a Host of Dance the World a TV show that shows Dancing Culture around the Planet, Work in process to be Broadcast by BBC world or CNN
